IC#50- Wooden Gift Tags

Our Iron Craft Challenge this week was to create some gift wrapping.  I was stumped for most of the week.  I love creative wrapping but couldn't seem to think of anything this week.  Finally yesterday I started playing around with some scrabble tiles and came up with an idea for some personalized gift tags.

I combined the scrabble tiles with some wooden apples I had in my craft stash.  I started by painting them and gluing on the tiles.

Then I added some glitter for a little pizazz.  Finally, I added a wire loop.  This can be used to attach the apples to the gift and later to hang on a tree as an ornament.

  2. I love what you came up with Jenny! The glitter definitely ads a degree of specialness to them. That would make a great addition to teacher gifts too!
