Last night we had friends over for a potluck and mini pumpkin decorating party. I just love those mini pumpkins. I was a little uncertain whether anyone would actually want to decorate a pumpkin; crafty activities can be hit or miss. But it turned out to be pretty fun and many of our friends went home with a cute little pumpkin. Here are some picture from the night:
We used paint pens which worked really well. We also tried sharpies but they didn't show up well and then stopped working. I also used some wire, toothpicks and card stock to make extra accessories.
Those are so fun! I love the cat! I'm glad everyone had a good time decorating :)
ReplyDeleteCute designs! Of course I love the cat, too. I'm glad that you had a fun decorating party. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! My husband brought home some mini-pumpkins today, and I was thinking my little ones would enjoy painting them. These give me some great ideas, too...especially the cat!
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest! I love the cat pumpkin!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the kitty is adorable. Did you try a bird? Nice to know sharpies won't paint on veges {:-D
ReplyDeleteThe cat one is so cute! I think this is a great idea and how great that they come to visit and get to take one home.

So cute! What a great idea to get adults in to the spirit of the season, too. Makes me think of the other decorative gourds and putting faces on them, too. : )
