Wow, gorgeous picks! You have definitely done a lot more international travel than I have.
@random I spent my junior year of college studying abroad in Cambridge, England so that helped boost my travels considerably.
So pretty!!! ;-) Love these pics.
so beautiful - thank you! your post brings back memories- not of exactly the same churches but close:) Magda
Beautiful! I have always love the art and architecture of churches and cathedrals! Cologne Cathedral must have been wonderful, you have to love the German Gothic style :) A few years ago I was lucky enough to go to Italy with my Interior Design program and we visited so many wonderful churches and cathedrals. My favorite was the baroque San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane in Rome, but they were all gorgeous. I still want to make it to Istanbul someday to see the Hagia Sophia (it has such a rich and complex history in addition to its immaculate beauty), to Barcelona to see Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, and to go back to Italy to see the Sienna Cathedral. Thanks for sharing, you make me want to dust off my passport and get back out there :)
Oh wow, those are beautiful! I took a few art history classes for fun in college (hooray for electives!) and I loved learning about this period. Just gorgeous.
Thanks for your comments! I love hearing from my readers :)
