Our Christmas Decorations

Our Christmas decorations are now up.  We went out yesterday to buy a tree; his name is Walter.  We had to move our table to fit him in our apartment, but that's just the way it is.


I'm a big fan of the eclectic ornament collection.  Here are two of my favorites: a Santa Milo that my mom gave us and a vintage ornament I found at a thrift store.



Our mantle is covered with nutcrackers and glittery poinsettias.  I love The Nutcracker.  I've seen the ballet probably 12 times.


Stockings are one of my favorite part of Christmas.  At my parents house I have two different knit stockings from each of my grandmas.  In our apartment, I'm working on getting us each our own knit stocking, even the cat.

    Lovely!! It feels nice to get in the mood, I'm sure! I'm not one for decorating, I think that will change when I have kids though!

    That bow is amazing! I'm not decorating until the weekend but I am sure excited! Hope mine looks as nice as yours does :)

    Your ornaments and decorations are great! We don't have stockings yet. That may wait until next year, but it's a good thing to keep in mind.
