ICC#31-A Little Clay Cardinal

This week's Iron Craft Challenge was to sculpt something using any time of clay.  Since I was out of town for most of this week, I kept my project relatively simple.  I sculpted a little cardinal using Fimo clay and then added wire legs.  I added the black details with acrylic paint after baking.


Don't tell the other birds, but I think cardinals might be my favorite bird to create.  I seem to make them more often than the others.

    I love cardinals too. We have a pair in our backyard so I'm lucky to get to see real ones all the time.
