My sky scarf project is still going well. It's growing and growing each day. It's fun looking back at what I have done and see stretches of weather.

Sky Scarf- One Month Update
As I mentioned at the start of the year, I am working on knitting a sky scarf this year. Basically, I look at the sky each day and use the colors of the sky to add to my scarf. Luckily (or sadly) I already had plenty of yarn on hand. I was able to find enough blue and gray yarn in my stash to create different sky shades, although they are a bit interpretive. Here is my progress after one month:
I've managed to keep up pretty well. On days I don't knit I at least mark down the sky color so I can catch up later. My main problem was figuring out how to keep all my yarn together and following along with me. I made some mistakes at first and ended up with some hanging loops, but I'm slowly working it out.

ICC#33- Finishing Off Where I left Off
Our Iron Craft Challenge this week was UFO, the unfinished object. The challenge was to find a project that you hadn't finished yet and...FINISH IT! Seems simple enough; I have lots of projects that I have started and then never finished. The challenge was, which one?
I chose a knitted coffee cozy that I had started about two years ago and never finished. It was using a cable knitting technique which I learned for the project and sadly had forgotten since.
I begin thinking that I would finish the knitting project to make a coffee cozy. But honestly, I had since made a coffee cozy that I use regularly and didn't really want to spend hours knitting something I didn't really want. So, I made it into a bracelet!
I attached buttons and made yarn loops to close it with. Ta-da! A perfect fall accessory!
