Hello! Recently, Copper Diem challenged us to create a piece of jewelry based on a drink. I was assigned Caipirinha. Having never heard of this drink, I did some research. Turns out it is made with sugarcane rum, sugar, and lime and is a popular drink in Brazil (source). Here is my necklace:
Do you like it? I focused on the lime and added some sparkles for the sugar. Check out some of my in progress shots:
I was glad I got to make a popular drink from Brazil. When I was growing up, my best friend's dad was from Brazil. This meant that I got to eat lots of Brazilian food and cheer on the team during the world cup.
