Sew-a-Long Clutch

Before we dive in, I wanted to announce the giveaway winner!  It was comment number 1, Paige from Little Nostalgia!!  I will be emailing you to get your mailing address.  Congratulations!

Now, for the real post.

I recently participated in a sew-a-long from see kate sew.  Kate has an awesome blog and I love seeing all her sewing projects.  For the sew-a-long, she posted a pattern and instructions and invited her readers to follow along.  At the end, we get to see each others' finished creations!  Let me show you what I made:

It's a ruffle clutch!  The project was pretty simple and easy to follow.  Mine has minor imperfections, but overall it turned out well.

I chose bright-colored patterned fabric because that's how I roll.  I'm excited to see all the other combinations that were chosen.

  2. Cool! This looks right up my alley- well, if the projects aren't too hard that is!!!! I'm getting into some pretty challenging stuff in my own sewing book and it's getting me a bit discouraged. I need something new, I think!

    1. Yeah, this was a pretty easy project. My sewing skills are still pretty basic but Kate explained it well. I recommend trying it.
