Postcard Swap Wrap-Up

First of all, what do you think of the new design?  I wanted something more custom-designed.  You may continue to see more changes as time goes on.  I stayed up late last night and changed my blog, etsy header, and twitter background.  Whew!  Second, this is a very picture-heavy post.  You may want to take a moment and get comfortable.  Maybe pour yourself a cup of coffee.  Alright, are you ready?  Let's go.

I have now received 10 postcards in the mail, which are all happily sitting on my mantle.  I should be receiving 11 postcards in total; 10 from the iHanna swap and one from the Iron Craft swap. Only one more to go!  I've tried to link up to everyone who sent the card, so let me know if I missed you.  I want to give proper acknowledgment.

Overview of the mantle, complete with some lovely daffodils.

Another mantle shot, complete with my birthday balloons which are still hangin on.

Here is a great sewn postcard with a quote from Barbara Kingsolver, one of my favorite authors.  Thanks Sarah!

Inspirational quote from Kylene.  Great message.

Cool hand postcard from Lis.  The design certainly brings me joy.

A beautifully illustrated card from Laila

Fun photo card all the way from Canada.  I don't have a link for this one, but aren't you curious about what the woman is thinking?  What a saucy lady.

Cute turtle postcard.  Turtles are one of my favorite animals.  No link for this one, but thanks Chris!

This fun stitched card came from Rebecca as part of the Iron Craft Challenge.  Thanks!
This one just came yesterday.  Whew!  Made it just in time.  This one came from Barbara in Italy!

This fun bright snowflake came all the way from Sweden!  Thanks Eva.
In case you missed it the first time, here's my first postcard I received.  Great collage from Ninette

  1. Hi Jenny! So nice to be in such good company!
Just wanting to thank you and to wish you a happy Easter.

  2. What fun! Your mantel must get so much attention now with all those wonderful postcards. And I do like the new look!

  3. I love how each one is so different, yet so equally beautiful!

Thanks for your comments! I love hearing from my readers :)
